Sam Agnew - Executive Director, Spiritus Marching Arts Association
Sam started her marching arts journey in 2009, first joining the Calgary Stetson Showband in the color guard. As a member of the Calgary Stetson Showband, Calgary Stampede Showband, Escalade Winterguard and Dynamic Winterguard, as well as her experience as an instructor(Stetsons Showband) and co-director (Dynamic Winterguard) Sam brings years of spinning and teaching experience to this role.
Sam accepted the role as Executive Director in June 2024 for Spiritus Marching Arts Association.
Outside of marching band, Sam has a completed Bachelors Degree, and is currently work in Calgary for a non-profit organization, organising events and volunteers year long.
Kendra Snyders-Blok - Dynamic Winterguard Director
Kendra has been a part of the Dynamic family for the past 8 years. She spun in the Winterguard for 4 seasons and started teaching full time in 2019. Kendra has also spun with the Calgary Stetson Show Band as well as the Calgary Stampede Showband.
She enjoys spinning all pieces of equipment, but sabre and flag are her favorite. She is very excited to continue to grow the program.
Connery Dudley - Chinook Winter Winds Director
Connery has been on staff at Chinook Winds for two years, taking on the role as Director for the 2024/25 season. Connery leads this group with passion, reliability and a love for winter winds.
